Self-booking

Book a spot in two taps

Members open the timetable, tap a class, and they are booked. When a class is full they join the waitlist and move up on their own as spots free. They cancel themselves before the cutoff you set, so the desk is not fielding texts.

  • Browse the classes open for booking
  • Tap to book, with a spot count that stays live
  • Join the waitlist and get promoted automatically
  • Self-cancel before your cutoff, which reopens the spot
Member area

Their plan, pass, and history

Each member gets their own login on your gym or studio's address. They see where their plan stands, what they have booked, and every visit they have made, without anyone at the desk looking it up.

  • A private login on yourgym.ziptempo.com
  • Plan status, visits left, and renewal date
  • Their QR pass, ready for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
  • Their own booking and visit history
No app store

A link, not a download

The member app is a web app on your own address, so there is nothing to find in an app store and nothing to approve. Members add it to a home screen and it opens full-screen like a native app, carrying your gym's logo and name.

  • Nothing to download or update from a store
  • Add to a home screen, opens full-screen like an app
  • Carries your gym or studio's logo and name
Your control

You decide what members can do

Member booking is a setting, not something you are stuck with. Switch it on for the programs you choose, set how far ahead members can book and when they can still cancel, and let ZipTempo check eligibility so an expired plan or an empty pass cannot grab a spot.

  • Turn member booking on per program
  • Set booking and cancellation cutoffs
  • Eligibility checked on membership and visits left
  • Email confirmations for booking, waitlist, and cancellation
Your brand

Their app, your brand

Members open your gym on its own web address, not a generic ZipTempo page. The sign-in screen, the icon they install to the home screen, and the emails they get all carry your name and logo. To a member it looks and feels like your own app.

  • Your logo on the app and the sign-in screen
  • Installs to the home screen with your icon and name
  • Booking and waitlist emails reply to your address

Try it in your own space

Free for 30 days, no card required. Most gyms and studios are live the same day.

Use cases

How members use the app

Boutique fitness

Regulars claim their favorite class the moment booking opens, the waitlist fills cancellations on its own, and the desk stays free to greet people instead of taking bookings.

CrossFit boxes

Members reserve the WOD slot they want the night before. Caps hold, the waitlist sorts the overflow, and a no-show frees the spot for whoever is next in line.

Small independent gyms

One owner cannot answer the phone and coach at once. Members book and cancel themselves, so the calendar fills without a single message back and forth.

Yoga & pilates studios

Small rooms live and die by capacity. Members book their mat, the waitlist holds the rest, and the door scan still marks who actually came.

FAQ

Member app questions

Can members book their own classes?

Yes. Members open your gym's address, see the classes open for booking, and reserve a spot in a couple of taps. Full classes go to a waitlist that promotes the next member automatically, and members can cancel themselves before the cutoff you set.

Do members have to download an app from a store?

No. The member app is a web app on your own address, so members just open a link. They can add it to a home screen to open it full-screen like a native app, with no App Store or Play Store download.

Can I keep booking staff-only?

Yes. Member booking is optional and set per program. Leave it off and staff run every booking from the desk, exactly as before. Turn it on for the classes where you want members handling it themselves.

What stops someone booking without a valid membership?

ZipTempo checks eligibility before it confirms a spot. An expired membership, or a pass with no visits left, cannot book, so you are not chasing down people who slipped through.

Do members get notified about their bookings?

If they have an email on file, ZipTempo emails them when a booking is confirmed, when they land on a waitlist, when a waitlist spot opens up, and when a class is cancelled.
